23.11.2013: Bittern - excellent view from Wader hide. It was fishing at the edge of the Reed Bed across the pit. A beautiful bird and my first sighting of this species. Also: Heron(2), Shelduck(2), Shoveller, Cormorant, Gadwall, Mallard(3), Coot(12+), Greylag Geese(200+), Canada Geese(50+), Lapwing(10), Crow(2), Moorhen(4), Fieldfare(3). |
