Four Shore Larks on the saltmarsh at the south end were watched all too briefly before they flew to the north and landed amongst seals on the beach by the old coastguard station. Also recorded this morning were a fine male Hen Harrier, a Marsh Harrier, 2 Common Buzzards, 3 Twite and 1,300 Brent Geese.

Yesterday, there was a Great Northern Diver and 6 Red-throated Divers north at sea.
