Along the Witham this afternoon:
Teal c25, mostly males
Egyptian Goose 2 (pair)
Green Sandpiper 1
Snipe 1
Buzzard 1
Sparrowhawk 1
Kestrel 1
Kingfisher 1
Fieldfare at least 100
Redwing far fewer c10

A walk along the Witham from Woodhall to Bardney and back yesterday, 28/11.
Tufted duck 21,
Teal 5
Little Egret 1 (near Stixwould station)
Lapwing c. 400
Golden Plover 55
Redshank 2
Buzzard 1
Kestrel 2
Fieldfare 400+
Redwing c. 30
Grey Wagtail 1 (drain near Bardney)
Goldfinch c. 160 (feeding mainly on teasel and burdock)
Bullfinch 2
Yellowhammer c. 25
