Farmland.. Pinkfeet 1600 Brent 800 Golden Plover 3300 Lapwing 60 Sea... Red-throated Diver 24 Common Scoter 13 Gannet 2 N Around... Black-tailed Godwit 46 (Mere) Short-eared Owl 1 Barn Owl 1 Tawny Owl 1 Kingfisher 1 Green Woodpecker 1 Fieldfare 7 Siskin 1 S Snow Bunting 6 From the Wash viewpoint at dusk Nige picked up a Crane flying inland with around 70 Little Egrets. I would suggest that it had to be a Common Darter Ruddies are very long gone but a colleague had a Common on Sunday in Rutland |

Incredibly late for Ruddy,havn't seen any since September.Great record otherwise,havn't heard of any December records for Common in Linc's. Steve. |

I was still seeing common and ruddy darters and migrant hawkers in early november in a sheltered nnr pond (sun trap) near my house. regards John |
