The swan count at lunch-time today was:

Mute 40, Bewick's 6, Whoopers 3.

In addition, there were a couple of small groups of Lapwing (60 + 60) c 50 Stock Doves, 50 Fieldfare, 2 Kestrels and single Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Little Owl.
