A short visit this morning around most of the area produced: Hartsholme Park: Siskin - 18 feeding in Alders with 6 Goldfinch Redwing - 7 Treecreeper - 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker - 1 Goosander - 1 fem showing very well Swanholme Lakes: Goosander - 7 (4m + 3f) Red-crested Pochard - drake with hybrid mate Wigeon - 105 Gadwall - 30 Shoveler - 7 Tufted Duck - 21 Cormorant - 4 Great crested Grebe - 5 Grey Heron - 1 Buzzard - 1 circling low over the area before heading off west Matthew |

No shoveler today but did see a sparrow hawk and kingfisher. Goosanders equaled 7 female and two males Red Crested Pochard in the same place looking for someone to feed them More dogs than birds though |
