Golden Plover 28 I am not aware of a traditional wintering area close to the village of Fishtoft so it is not surprising that this is my first winter record locally. Their delicate and complex colouring in winter make them my favourite Plover but its several years since I watched them associating with Lapwings which is the only other wader they seem to tolerate. |
