Dog walking circuit around the village this afternoon saw; 6 Fieldfare, 1 Redwing, 1 G/S Woodpecker, 1 Green Woodpecker, 40 Goldfinch, 4 Yellowhammer, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Little Egret flying towards Branston, 60+ Starlings, 3 Pied Wagtail, 5 Robin, 17 Blackbird, 15 House Sparrows, 2 (m) Bullfinch. Along River Witham, Washingborough Five Mile bridge, 20 Goosander (11m,9f), 1 Kingfisher, 1 Little Egret, 28 Mute Swans. 1 bored dog! and additional entertainment by Red Arrows. |
