Hi Aidan Did you get a good look at the Sandpiper as Green Sandpiper would be more likely at this time of year or even winter plumaged Spotted Sandpiper? Russell |

Dear Russell, Unfortunately my view(with Binoculars) was from near the gate as it was impossible to get to the hide due to flooding. I surmised that it was a Common Sandpiper but your suggestions are equally plausible. Yours, Aidan |
