Come on Andrew, you missed the bird of the day off your list ------------- yes, now you remember ------------ a stunning Australian Wood Duck ------------ don't ask me if it was male or female though!
Your count of moorhen was a bit out as there was at least double that score -- but you are right -- it was a good day

Walk along the sea wall from the river for about a mile (past the raptor view point). Beyond the eastern boundary

One bird I missed just reading this back was the Skylarks. A sign of Spring!

I didn't list the Wood Duck as wasn't sure if this was the right place for what can only be an escapee?

I normally put them on my main report for the sake of being fully comprehensive.
