Walk down this pm over farm fields to water works threw up following bits: Green woodpecker-regular bird, sometimes pair, feeding on ants in short grass by the main path. Buzzard Pair of yellowhammer Large fieldfare flock on crop field Song thrush singing |

Green woodpecker "regular" bird..sometimes pair..makes me smile about this unfair birding world.. GW is my bogie bird..never get to see any..i was telling some chap in a hide & he said he has them in the garden..aarrggghhhh..i must visit those water works..great report. |
