Rock Pipit 1 (only my fourth ever record at Toft and my earliest Spring record) Also.... Goldeneye 12 (equal male/female split) Green Woodpecker 1(h) Pochard 1 Tufted Duck 27 G C Grebe 10 Mute Swan 13 (numbers tend to build up at this time of year) Gadwall 46 (my highest number recorded at Toft, numbers slowly increasing over the past few weeks) Lapwing 2 (in tumbling display flight in fields to the north of the reservoir) |
