Generally the same species with little change in numbers, however a fine adult Mediterranean Gull flew north along the tide-line at 1540 and a 3rd cy male Marsh Harrier joined two Common Buzzards sauntering low over the coastal fields.

I did the NE end of the Realignment Scheme walking from Grainthorpe Outfall. There are plenty of nice pools but the birds are easily disturbed if you walk along the new seabank, the only waders of note were 1 Ruff and 8 Dunlin plus Redshank and Curlew. In the adjacent fields was a Peregrine feeding on a kill and the Buzzards were also on the ground there.

Grainthorpe marsh this afternoon/evening, of note was a f marsh harrier with green wing tags. Never came close enough to id them. Imm spoonbill still here.

The green wing-tagged Marsh Harrier is likely to be the same individual noted in the area last autumn. A quick search of the internet at that time showed it was probably tagged in N Norfolk.

I did a complete circular walk of the realignment scheme this morning and the Spoonbill was on the Grainthorpe Marsh but later disappeared into one of the creeks. A Short-eared Owl was out hunting about 10am.
On the RS were 1 or 2 Ruff and circa 60 Twite.
