2 Whooper Swans in a back garden this morning at Bardney. ( Now gone with some help from the authorities)

100 then flew over heading NW at 7:55am, appeared to come from a field to the South of Bardney but may have just been flying through. They caused the garden bird to honk loudly as the flew over.

15 Whooper Swans seen this afternoon on Nocton Fen.

Had a tour of the Wash coast line with Dave Roberts today
Holbeach Marsh 50 whoopers
Gedney Drove End 12 and the same birds from Nene Mouth
Then onto Frampton where initially we had 5 but another 53 joined them in front of the visitor centre unseen by us (while we were unsuccessfully looking for garganey). Then after taking some photos from Reedbed Hide another 13 dropped in while we were walking back to the car from the hide (again unseen)
