10 siskins appeared in the garden this morning. They have been appearing daily throughout the winter period in groups up to about 7. (Along with up to 8 redpoll) but this is the most at one time.

We have also been getting a rambling brambling for about a week now - it is a nice male that usually visits the feeders early morning. Have had a couple of siskin on odd occasions but they are not at all regular here.

One less Siskin following a fly through by a rather splendid male sparrowhawk.
