A Red Kite which flew south along the dunes at 1025 had red or orange wing-tags (the light was too poor to be certain). Fewer migrants were seen in the colder conditions, but included 2 Swallows, Chiffchaff, Blackcap and the first Grasshopper Warbler reeling. A raft of 65 Common Scoters present offshore. Tufted Ducks continue to increase, and today's count of 28 is the highest ever for the flashes at the south end.
