Pleasant walk but colder than I expected!

Nice number of new arrivals:

Willow Warbler 3
Chiffchaff 4+
Whitethroat 2
Swallow 20+
Sand Martin 3
Blackcap 2m & 2f

Other good bits:

Reed Bunting 1m
Bullfinch 1m
Kingfisher x 1
Mistle Thrush x1
Curlew x2
Long-tailed Tit x 3
Sparrowhawk x 2
G C Grebe x 2
Tufted Duck 9m 2f
Lesser Black Backed Gull
Mute Swan - usual pair but flock of 7 over
Skylark 1

Plus 12 other usual suspects. First time I've broken 40 species this year =D>

Also 1 unidentified high flying 'harrier' flew NW at 0820 (too high and far away to get id).

Cheers
James

James.
Your harrier sp was a cracking ad male Marsh Harrier which flew over South Sea Lane Humberston at 08.15 heading towards the country park which is only a couple of miles to the north.

Thanks Dave, it was over the golf course so can't claim it as CCP bird but nice to know anyway.

Any chance of telling me what the large white bird i saw on Friday from the office?
(Presumably it was a Little Egret but didn't look right)

Cheers
James
