On an evening walk along the bridleway adjacent to Legsby Wood (TF125873) I was surprised to disturb a flock of 104 Fieldfares in two Oak trees which made off in a north westerly direction. |

Similar sized flock flew into the west side of Linwood Warren at 7pm today - almost certainly the same flock feeding up before they migrate. |
