A late morning walk around the perimeter in the murk, 11.15-13.00: Little Gull 1 adSP Common Tern 1 (no Arctics) Swallow c.300 House Martin c.75 Sand Martin c.45 Lesser Whitethroat 1 male in song, N side. Blackcap 1 male Yellow wagtail 12 Common Sandpiper 1 Avocet 2 flew over, heading south. Fly sp. Trillions Phil |

Wednesday evening walk around res with the Grimsby area gang - drake long-tailed duck amongst 70 tufted duck, 3 common sands, single dunlin and greenshank, 8 arctic terns (arrived, fed on flies for a few minutes then left high towards the coast).
