A very rewarding evening. The highlight of the evening was a very elegant Wood Sandpiper which when temporarily disturbed by a Buzzard showed that the feet do project well beyond the tail in flight. Something that the books note when making comparisons with Green Sandpiper but I have rarely been fortunate enough to see!
