Decided to do a big bird day list today, just for a bit of fun. Alarm was set for 0445hrs, then birding commenced at 0500hrs and finished at 2130hrs! The results are as follows: (the list is in the order that I saw them)

GREAT WHITE EGRET was very unexpected (viewed from Harvey's hide flying over the Cowbank Drain then disappeared inland)

Well done Richard. I admire your fortitude. This made really interesting and informative reading. We could do with more records like this
