Purring Turtle Doves holding territory at Dunsby Sewage Works and at the reservoir in Dunsby. Both these sites are adjacent to Rippingale parish making a mini hotspot for Turtle Doves.

Good numbers of Turtle Doves at Gib today with at least 13 birds on the reserve, including 3 purring simultaneously. Nightingale also new in this morning, singing around North Building between 0530-1100hrs.

Wood Sandpiper also on Jackson's Marsh for the past couple of days (adult Spoonbill also briefly yesterday) and 168 Swallows south today.

Cheers,
