highlights of a couple of hours this afternoon include: glossy ibis - single bird in flight over the River Glen where it seemed to go down (behind the floodbanks) - couldn't re-locate it - but assume this is the same bird of c10 days ago but maybe foraging off the reserve? grey plover - 1 in full breeding plumage Otherwise, single ringed plower, lapwing and shelduck with young, 5 little egret, single cuckoo plus usual....
