Whilst on the "Dambusters Walk" around R.A.F. Scampton on 25.5.14, we had reached the Hangers and Runway when I at first heard a Skylark singing away, and then the unmistakable call of a Curlew (possibly more than one). Is this unusual? |

Curlew have bred in recent years on airfields in Lincolnshire such as Cranwell, Barkston and Fulbeck. Have one pair this year very close to Lincoln at South Hykeham. Alan |
