Late records due to computer hitch. A fine Wood Warbler was trapped and ringed at the south end yesterday (11th) at 0755. More remarkable though, was the retrapping of the Icterine Warbler which had been ringed on 30th May. After being ringed and photographed, this bird had been released into my garden, but had made its way back to the same patch of bushes on the dunes. A Spoonbill was present on the flashes and in the afternoon there was a Quail calling in barley on the NW side of the realignment area.

Today (12th) there were 2 Hobbies and a Turtle Dove at the south end.
