What was happening on the second balcony of the tower on Thursday evening at about 20.40? One Peregrine adult was extremely agitated. I hope that it was not human disturbance! Do the chicks attract the larger Gulls that frequent the area looking for food? |

Unsure about that but the youngsters are making quite a racket begging for food, particularly if one is being fed and another is having to watch. I have seen an adult peregrine with a gull chick being chased by lbbg though. Lbbg nest on the flat roof buildings nearby |

George, There should be no human disturbance at the church..........there is no access beyond the first balcony. There is some repair work required to one of the telecommunication masts required, but they will wait until after the Peregrines have fledged before doing this work. They will now be making lots of noise as they call to the youngsters and the youngsters call for food. This next week should provide some of the best viewing as they will be extremely active and very very noisy! Alan |
