Chris it was a stunning view. To see all we had to go up on the sea bank and look down, as we originally thought only between 5 and 10!

Just one Barwit in summer plumage is impressive but to see 250 I agree must be a stunning sight

I counted the Bar-tailed Godwit flock at high tide on Sunday and got 342 - truly amazing for the time of year.

Yes I did, thanks Roy. I had just heard one and seen two by the farm when you and Linda drove past, and there were four out in the middle of the wet grasslands near the open-sided barn a bit later on.
