Location: Saltfleet and Tipton, West Mids.
A Quail was still singing on the south side, also seen were 1 Marsh Harrier, 8 Golden Plover, 1 Greenshank and a Corn Bunting was singing. Two birders I spoke to said 2 Ospreys were on the beach.

A walk from Horseshoe Point to the N end of the realignment in the evening also produced:

The 2 Osprey out on the beach and both seen tucking into fish for supper
Quail heard from the N end of the realignment
Peregrine
Barn Owl
Green Sandpiper
Common Snipe
22 Golden Plover
Cuckoo
2 Corn Bunting

Also Barn Owl by Tetney Crossroads late pm

Last nights rain had brought down 6 Greenshank, also seen were, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Hobby and a Barn Owl. A Quail was still singing.

A walk around the realignment this evening produced:

2 Osprey still out on the beach
2 Quail (one near Pyes, the other next to the southern end of the realignment)
1 Marsh Harrier
1 Peregrine (the Marsh Harrier & Peregrine being non-breeders and have been summering in the area for some time now)
2 Barn Owl
15 Little Egret (inc 3 colour-ringed birds)
200 Common Scoter on the Humber
1 LRP
6 Greenshank
12 Black-tailed Godwit
11 Common Snipe
1 Cuckoo
2 Corn Bunting

This morning there was 1 Ringed Plover, 10 Dunlin, 2 Ruff, 4 Snipe, at least 1 but possibly 3 Spotted Redshank calling in flight, 20 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 1 Cuckoo chased by a Starling flock, 3 singing Quail and 1 Corn Bunting.

This morning there was a very high tide which filled up the scheme quite well.
Birds seen included several Avocet, 1 or 2 LRP, 6 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 9 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Greenshank, 6 Sandwich Tern and 4 Quail singing. An Osprey was fishing off shore.

Out early today and the 1 osprey was joined by another they had a little Airel fight then one sat on the post out there and the other went towards Pies but well out.

Not so many waders this morning but 4 Greenshank were noteworthy, a Marsh Harrier and a Yellow Wagtail were seen and just 1 Quail was calling.

This morning one of the summering Ospreys was sitting on a post offshore, on the scheme were 16 Teal, 8 Dunlin, 3 Greenshank, 5 Golden Plover, 9 Sandwich Tern and 3 Yellow Wagtail.

This morning there were 12 species of waders including, circa 12 Avocet, 1 LRP, 8 Golden Plover, 72 Dunlin, 11 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper and 8 Greenshank also 2 Marsh Harrier were hunting.
