Spotting on the Boston Belle cruise today. 67 species in total. Highlights included:-

Peregrine - 3 (all on Boston Stump)
Marsh Harrier - 5
Kestrel - 2
Buzzard - 1
Pink-footed Goose - 3
Eider - 1
Sandwich Tern - 2
Common Sandpiper - 3
Turtle Dove - 1
Corn Bunting - 1

Barring a lone Great Crested Grebe and the odd Cormorant, The Wash itself was incredibly quiet. However, a big flock of Curlew at the mouth of the Welland was rather impressive. Good numbers of Turnstone and Grey Plover were further down as well, with the odd summer-plumaged Knot and a dashing Ruff amongst them. Plenty of Swift overhead throughout as well.

Would it be worthwhile walking out to Witham Mouth at this time of year? Keen to do a final push towards my Year List target of 120. I'm currently at 117 and 3 species to go!
