Request from Kayleigh Brookes (Rutland Osprey Project) There has recently been ospreys reported at Donna Nook and Horseshoe Point. I was wondering if you could please tell me whether these birds are ringed? If so, is it possible to read the numbers/letters? It would be great to know whether they are Rutland birds. The two I saw were about a mile away and you could just make out they were Ospreys, no chance of seeing any rings. Maybe others had more luck. Geoff |

Unfortunately I never viewed them close enough to see if either of them were ringed. No sign of either bird yesterday evening in strong northerly winds Regards Chris |

I've not seen either bird at short enough range to determine rings. Neither bird appeared to be present this afternoon. |
