Found by John Shaughnessey at 7am when it flew onto Tennyson Sands and stayed for around 20 minutes. Fortunately it returned after a short while and was still present at 09:30, viewed from Harvey's Hide, the hide south of beach car park.

Cheers, Rob.

The Pratincole remained on Tennysons for over an hour, it flew off South over the Plantation, about 10ish, heading towards The Wash. It is presumed to have moved on,with no sightings now for the past hour and a half.
It will inevitably turn up at Frampton Marsh this afternoon !

Another great find by the legendary John Shaughnessy

Missed it at Gib, so drove to Frampton, but no sign. Consolation was the ibis, yellow legs (nearly a yellow leg as it fought with a redshank that had hold of one of its legs), and a fine singing turtle dove.
Cheers

I missed it at Gib too, by three or four minutes.

I would have seen it for about 45 minutes if the news had been put out nationally a lot sooner, as it could have been. I was only at Freiston Shore but Birdguides did not send out a text message until about 9.15, which I assume is when they found out about the bird being back. Up to then there had just been a report of a 'pratincole sp' for 20 minutes and then flying off south early morning.

I did not know many (any really) of the obvious locals at Gib this morning but listening to them they had been getting calls and texts from 8.25 onwards. If someone had thought to ring/text RBA or Birdguides then I would be a lot happier now.

Cheers
Steve

Looks like the bird missed out Freiston, Frampton and Titchwell, and is now at Cley?
