A visit today from 06.15-1.30 PM saw the following being seen:

3 Wood Sand
15 Ruff
8 Little-ringed Plover
8 Common Sand
3 Green Sand
2 Greenshank
41 Little Egret
53 Teal

All the above on the re-alignment.

1 Juv. Cuckoo(Stonebridge)
42 Common Scoter(South)over the sea.
17 Sandwich Tern on the beach at the tide edge.

8 Common Sand(Covenham Res.)

Additional birds at the south end of Donna Nook included 2 Gannets, 18 Sandwich Terns, 75 Common Scoters, 14 Sanderlings, 12 Knot, 10 Bar-tailed Godwits, 90 Golden Plovers, 2 Greenshanks, 8 Green Sandpipers and 5 Swifts.

Highlights N of Stonebridge this evening:

1 Osprey continuing to summer in the area. Flew inland to roost at sunset
1 Marsh Harrier
1 juv Cuckoo
2 Wood Sandpiper
4 Green Sandpiper
7 Common Sandpiper
10 Greenshank
30 Avocet
11 Whimbrel
8 Ruff
6 LRP
4 Common Snipe
14 Swift
6 Yellow Wagtail
