It was difficult to find birds in the bushes at the south end in the strong and blustery SSW wind. Migrants seen were just 2 Willow Warblers, Reed Warbler, 2 Common Whitethroats, Tree Pipit, Pied Flycatcher, Hobby and Cuckoo. Also noted were 5 Common Terns, 5 Sandwich Terns, 74 Sanderlings and 85 Dunlin on the shore and 17 Lapwings, Common Sandpiper and Ruff on the flashes. |
