Firecrest still in my garden. Birds of note on the dunes this morning included 15 Song Thrushes, 12 Blackbirds, 6 Mistle Thrushes, 12 Robins, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Redstart, 2 Grey Wagtails and a Kingfisher. Further south in the Howden's Pullover area this afternoon, there were 2 Stonechats, Whinchat and a Hen Harrier. At the southernmost limits of the reserve at Saltfleet, there was a fine Slavonian Grebe showing on the new pond by Saltfleet Haven. |
