Highlights of the WeBS count at the south end this morning were 940 Oystercatchers, 3 Greenshanks, 3 Red-throated Divers, 7 Gannets and 2 Sandwich Terns. Grounded migrants were 10 Song Thrushes, 6 Blackbirds, 7 Robins, 4 Blackcaps, Chiffchaff, Yellow-browed Warbler, 10 Goldcrests, 70 Meadow Pipits, 4 Rock Pipits, Tree Pipit, Whinchat, 3 Stonechats and a Brambling. Also of note were 160 Skylarks, 2 Common Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, House Martin and Swallow.

In addition to the Arctic Warbler at Stonebridge, between here and Pye's Hall there were 15+ Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tit, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, Grey Wagtail and 2 Stonechats. A Raven was reported and 2 Bean Geese flew south.
