The Arctic Warbler showed well for practically everybody through the day, but the Radde's Warbler found between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall in the afternoon turned out to be a far more skulking affair. Two Yellow-browed Warblers were seen, but very few other grounded migrants hence 2 Goldcrests, Wheatear, 2 Song Thrushes, 5 Robins and a Brambling. Some Twite were heard. Highlights of the WeBS count were 820 Brent Geese, one pale-bellied Brent Goose, 690 Pink-footed Geese south in 9 skeins, 286 Shelducks, 720 Golden Plovers, 630 Oystercatchers, Greenshank, Jack Snipe, Marsh Harrier and 2 Sparrowhawks.
