Baumber Village 16/10/14

A Hen Harrier flying south around 11.00 am, quite high approx' 1000ft being mobbed by four or five Corvids as it passed over.
A few Redwings flying in, 2, Jay, 4 Goldcrest, 2 Willow /Chaff, 1 Little Owl .

Apologies for the delay but there is also a Black Redstart around the village, seen twice now, Monday and Wednesday of this week.

Cheers...Greg

Thursday 16th 1035hrs.

Traveling in the car saw a large skein of geese ( presumably Pinkfeet ) c250 heading north up the Bain valley to the east of Hemingby village towards Ranby. First of the autumn.
