An excellent morning on the patch:- 1 ringtail Hen Harrier hunting over reeds at mere for about 2 minutes before flying west. My first in 31 years of patch watching and as far as I am aware the first ever on the patch. Bittern flew from west bay and landed in main reed bed. 2 Cetti's Warblers calling in west bay and 1 seen briefly. |
