A small fall of thrushes was apparent, with most eventually leaving to the SW. 170 Blackbirds were recorded with 20 Fieldfares, 21 Redwings, 5 Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush and a Ring Ouzel. Also of interest were 25 Chaffinches, 10 Robins, 4 Tree Sparrows, 6 Long-tailed Tits, Lapland Bunting and Water Rail. 36 Whooper Swans were on the fields, but there was no sign of the Bean Geese. |
