A morning circuit of the realignment area for the Webs count and then Pye's Hall to Stonebridge. Other than the expected counts, highlights were 10 Whooper Swans, a Goosander, 380 Teal, 248 Shelducks, 710 Brent Geese, a pale-bellied Brent Goose, Greenshank, Lapland Bunting, 60 Reed Buntings, 25 Yellowhammers and 50 Rock Pipits. A visit to the south end in the afternoon added a further 36 Whooper Swans and a Ring Ouzel. |
