Highlights of a two hour round Swanholme Lakes produced kingfisher, two goldcrest, eight shoveler and the usual two red-crested pochard. No sign yet of any any goosanders and I couldn't spot the nuthatch which apparently is close to the boathouse

Up to 4 Little Egrets roosting on the island at the moment. I hear the Nuthatch most mornings, usually in the woods close to the new white bridge Chris.

Late news : last Sunday, ad.w - Med Gull, Teal Pit, Apex. No sign of the Iceland Gull.

Regards David
