Few visitors in dreary conditions. However, plenty to see on the reserve for those willing to get a little wet! Highlights, amidst the throngs of Wigeon, Teal, Brent, Lapwing and Golden Plover, included:- Hen Harrier x 1 Merlin x 1 Sparrowhawk x 1 Barn Owl x 2 Glossy Ibis x 1 Curlew x c20 Twite x 6+ Stonechat x 2 Goldcrest x 2 Kingfisher x 1 Whooper Swan x 7 (over, moving south) And Frampton Roads:- Rough-legged Buzzard x 1 Pink-footed Goose x c110 Common Buzzard x 2 |
