Whooper Swans had increased to 59 on the fields at the south end. One adult is carrying a yellow darvic ring, but I was unable to read it owing to distance and the dense growth of the crop. Other relevant birds included a Common Buzzard, 2 Woodcocks, 35 Blackbirds, 2 Goldcrests, 80 Meadow Pipits, Stonechat, Corn Bunting and a Kingfisher. 40 Pink-footed Geese flew south. |
