Post subject:  Historical records

I am currently engaged on sorting through historical Lincs records of rare and scarce birds and coming across some questionable records the first of which are given below; if anyone has any information on any of these records either positive of negative it would be most useful:

Temminck's Stint Grantham SF three October 23rd 1960
Bluethroat Marston, Grantham September 13th 1959 (the only inland autumn record)
Red-footed Falcon Grantham SF September 8th 1963 (exceptional in autumn anywhere in Uk male -- observers A Dobbs and Mrs H Dobbs -- is this the infamous Austin Dobbs of particularly dubious Notts string of rarities Nighthawk et al fame?)

Corncrake New York area July -August 1959
Corncrake New York area several August 1960
Corncrake New York area calling for 3 days in April 1961

Red-breasted Flycatcher Spalding October 1st 1961 (again the only ever inland record) and no other in that autumn on the coast)
Long-tailed Skua Spalding BO October 7th 1961 no other records for several years on the coast

Stone Curlew Humberston 4-5 mid June 1960

Dipper Maud Foster Drain 2 June 1st - 2nd 1966 -- assume this can be discounted recorded as dubious in Atkin and Lorand but in the LNU annual report for 1966
