Beautiful cold day at Frampton Wondrous sight at dusk with thousands of birds in the air together Even on an ordinary day this is a special place buzzard but no sign of RLB water pipit on the Reservoir - thanks Anthony peregrine 2 one on the grassland and one on the salt marsh pink footed goose 94. One on the ground and two flocks over (one of 80 and one of 13) white-fronted goose 2 brent goose c1000 golden plover c6000 lapwing c2000 whooper swan 5 on wet grassland pintail 2 redshank c150 curlew c180 dunlin c400 ruff c50 black-tailed godwit 26 snipe 1 little egret c20 little grebe 9 pochard 16 teal c1000 wigeon c3000 mallard c300 gadwall 46 shoveler 54 moorhen 62 wood pigeon c3000 magpie 14 starling c270 egyptian goose 1 over by the reservoir shelduck 5 cormorant 8 grey heron 3 tufted duck 35 coot 26 canada goose c50 greylag goose c60 mute swan 12 Missed the ibis today |
