Post subject:  Donna Nook, 3rd December.

A seawatch from the dunes was abandoned after 45 minutes when I recorded only 50 Teal north and 4 Goldeneye south during persistent aircraft activity. 122 Sanderling and 152 Curlews were on the shore and 42 Whooper Swans, 15 Mute Swans and 2 Common Buzzards were on the fields. Birds in the Stonebridge area in the afternoon included 320 Brent Geese, 30 Pink-footed Geese, 125 Shelducks, 250 Knot, 160 Redshanks, 455 Lapwings and 27 Turnstones.
