Post subject:  RLB Helpringham Fen

Rough-legged Buzzard still present along North Drove Helpringham at approx. TF160398. The bird has apparently been present for several days.

Also seen today:-

Common Buzzard 1
Barn Owl 1
Golden Plover 25
Fieldfare
Redwing

Very easy to find just on the far side of the first field out of the village. Obligingly flew from tree to tree showing tail band well. Although this is my 4th RLB of the winter having missed the Frampton bird this was my first in Lincs. :D

Did you see the "Bittern", it flew past at 60mph heading towards Sleaford
