Happy new year to all bird club members. This morning on the patch:- Mere 98% frozen, only wildfowl 5 Mute Swans, 104 Mallard, 4 Gadwall & 2 Coot. 3 Lapwings stood on ice. Bittern flew from west bay and landed in view on the front edge of the main reed bed. 1 Kingfisher. 6 Bullfinches. 1 Coal Tit. 1 Skylark. |
