Happy New Year to all members.
I decided to forgo the chance of a lifer over the water and settled on a New Years Day patch visit.
Was a rather cold, miserable wander round but at least there were no park runners and fewer dog walkers.
An average total of 33 species were seen with the highlights being -
1 ChiffChaff 1 Goosander 2 Stock Dove (appears to be a patch lifer) 19 Curlew 15 Common Gull 20 Long-tailed Tit (a single flock) 1m & 1f Tufted Duck
Cheers James
