2 Short-eared Owls at Hawthorpe at 1230 yesterday watched by Dave Thorpe and me. Also a pair of Stonechats a Buzzard, 3 kestrels and a Raven. Lots of Fieldfares and 120 Fallow Deer.

At nearby Temple Wood and the BT Tower 2 more ravens, a peregrine and 2 buzzards. Another 100 Fallow Deer here too. In the wood very quiet except for a calling Nuthatch and several Bullfinches. In Callan's lane Wood at least 3 Marsh Tits.

Nice sightings Ian, i was at Hawthorpe 11ish yesterday, then had a wander down Dunsby and Haconby fens, back at Hawthorpe about 1.30pmish so did an excellent job of missing the SEOs.....again..... seen them 2 visits out of 4 so far.
whereabouts was the Harrier at Dunsby?

Cheers,

Oliver.
